Spring 2026 is shaping up to be one of the busiest production seasons in recent memory for Los Angeles. With multiple studio films, streaming series, and commercial campaigns in pre-production, demand for picture cars — the vehicles that appear on camera — is surging. PicturePML, our dedicated picture car division, has been fielding requests since January.
What Productions Are Looking For
The trend this season leans heavily toward modern luxury and ultra-luxury vehicles. Rolls-Royce Phantoms and Cullinans remain the most-requested hero cars for establishing wealth and power on screen. Mercedes G-Wagons and Cadillac Escalades dominate the 'character SUV' category. And for chase sequences and action scenes, Lamborghinis and Ferraris are booking fast.
Classic Cars Are Having a Moment
Period pieces and nostalgia-driven content are driving demand for our classic collection. Our 1965 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III has appeared in three productions this quarter alone. Vintage Mercedes sedans, classic Cadillacs, and retro sports cars add authenticity that can't be faked with CGI.
What PicturePML Provides
We don't just drop off a car. PicturePML provides full picture car service — vehicle transport to set, on-set supervision, specialty modifications (removable doors, camera mounts, custom wraps), and backup vehicles. Our team understands call sheets, turnaround times, and the controlled chaos of a live set.
Commercial & Photoshoot Bookings
Beyond film and TV, our vehicles appear regularly in commercial campaigns for fashion, lifestyle, and automotive brands. The controlled environment of a photo studio or location shoot requires vehicles in show-ready condition — every car in our picture fleet is detailed to perfection before every booking.
